We made last minute travel plans to a far away and beautiful place for a few days -Morocco!
We arrived in Marrakech which lies near the foothills of the snow
capped Atlas Mountains and a few hours from the Sahara
Desert.

With just a few days to see all we could, we headed for the medina or the historic district of the city. At any time of day, the large, enclosed city square is full of constantly moving buggies, people, and carts. It was a feast for the senses!
We saw fabulous art by Karim Marrakchi. His large scale paintings have dynamic energy and beautiful colors~ so inspiring!
